My partner and I faced many problems while doing our experiment. One of the problems we faced was getting it to sink and float horizontally. We had to fix this issue in order for our submarine to sink and float. To fix it, we taped a bottle cap with a few rocks to the lid because the top of the submarine (bottle) was way to light compared to the bottom of the submarine. Another thing we did was add a few holes in the front for more water to get in to the top. We also took off some of the clay at the bottom of the bottle to make the bottle the same weight on both sides.
I think being able to solve problems is important in life because if you ever have a problem with bills, your job, your house, etc, you might not be able to fix it because you never learned. You won't have the problem-solving skills to help you in life.
