Art 6 Photography

When I went to Taipei during spring break, I decided to take pictures. I decided to write a reflection about my atypical angle because I wanted to talk about my process and how I came up with this photo because it is unexpected.

This is my atypical angle photo. I took this picture right in front of Taipei 101! Outside of the tower, they built a short tower out of translucent colored bricks. This picture was taken from the side looking up to the sky. I took this photo because I felt it would be a great atypical angle photo for art. When I took this photo, I found that even though it was a multi-colored wall, it came out gray, without editing! I felt it really represented an atypical angle.

Reflection Questions

     I. For the picture above, it showed atypical angle and it also showed rule of thirds. It showed atypical angle because instead of showing the face of the wall, it showed it as if we were against it and looking up. It also showed rule of thirds because the second-to-top horizontal line was in line with the top of the wall.
II. If I did this assignment again, I would just retake a couple pictures in case one was blurry.
III. The texture picture was my favorite because I changed it so much but it still looked amazing.
